Bending Press System MH180

Large and heavy workpieces weighing up to 180 kg can be bent by the Motoman robot MH180. A particularly strong VST swing arm significantly expands the working range of the industrial robot. The raw material feed is done on a pallet table with sheet separation (also known as "double sheet control"). Two finished part pallets with corner angle detection allow for long operation times of the system without material change. The example layout shows a cell concept in which the robot picks up the sheet metal parts from a loading station and stacks the finished products either on a pallet or a conveyor belt. The conveyor system can be equipped with a pallet storage for empty pallets.
