Silicon carbide is free of iron, angular, and extremely hard. Due to its extreme hardness and its blocky yet sharp-edged characteristics, WIWOX® SI silicon carbide blasting media achieves its typical properties. It is particularly suitable for use on hardened steel and ceramics.
