CorruGrind

The CorruGrind is used for the production of corrugated rollers for the manufacture of corrugated cardboard. Modern corrugated cardboard plants today operate with a paper throughput speed of up to 700 m/min. This places the highest demands on the manufacturing precision of the corrugated rollers. When the paper passes through the system at such a high speed, even the smallest deviations in the pitch of the tooth profile or run-out errors of the corrugated roller can lead to tearing of the paper. From a manufacturing perspective, due to the high precision requirements, a corrugated roller can be compared to a precision gear, although its tooth profile has a length of 2,000 to 3,000 mm.
