External BEM (Company Integration Management)

Occupational Reintegration Management (BEM) has been a legal obligation for employers since 2004 (§84, Abs. 2, SGB IX). The aim of BEM is to reintegrate employees who have been absent due to illness for an extended period (42 days of sick leave within the past 12 months), whether the absence was continuous or intermittent, back into the workplace. This process aims to identify and, if necessary, eliminate any workplace-related causes of illness and to prevent future occurrences. Through the trustworthy implementation of external Occupational Reintegration Management, it is possible to collaboratively find the best solutions and implement measures together with the employee and the company.
