Capsule Manometer

Pressure measuring devices with capsule spring measuring mechanism are only suitable for pressure measurements of gases and air. The elastic measuring element of the device type KM consists of two thin, corrugated, soldered or welded plate springs. Centrally (in the middle), only one half of the capsule spring is held fixed in the housing. This allows both halves to move freely. As a result, the double travel of the plate spring is achieved. This enables the measurement of smaller pressures without reducing the wall thickness. Even the smallest pressures of 0...1 mbar can be measured in this way. These are transmitted by the measuring element through the pointer mechanism to the display (dial). Designation: KMC 100/ESE/AU/160mbar
