Balustrade B7 - Glass balustrades

Handrail made of stained and varnished oak wood, attached to the edge directly on the glass panel. The balustrade is made of clear glass panels, attached to the side of the steps with polished stainless steel fasteners. This type of balustrade manages to elegantly close almost any type of staircase in the way that only the handrail is visible, thus emphasizing even more the impression of floating. The balustrade in the images comes with the great advantage brought by the main property of glass - transparency. In the present case, an element as neutral as possible, invisible in the geometry of the staircase, was needed to avoid crowding in a relatively narrow space with small windows. The gap of the staircase presented the great difficulty in making this balustrade because its dimensions were only 900x900 mm.
