Scraper

Hydraulic cylinders are used in a wide variety of applications and environments. They are often exposed to contaminants, dust, and weather conditions. To prevent these contaminants from entering the cylinder and hydraulic system, the exterior of the cylinder head is protected by wipers. Wipers ensure the sealing on the piston rod. This sealing is maintained both at rest (no movement of the rod) and in operation (movement of the rod). Without wipers, contaminants could enter the cylinder when the piston rod is retracted. The static sealing of the wiper in the groove is also important to prevent moisture and dirt particles from the environment from entering even when at rest.
