M 215 – Winding and Cutting Machine for Bandages

This machine produces coreless bandages. The base material is a special cotton wound on rolls. The cotton is unwound in the machine and wound into a long roll with a diameter of 40 mm, without a core. Subsequently, the wrapping paper is fed into the winding process via a vacuum gripping system and automatically coated with adhesive to prevent the bandages from unraveling. The winding of the roll is carried out using three coordinated winding rollers, which differ in speed and direction of rotation to achieve a wrinkle-free and firm roll. In the cutting area of the machine, the rolls are cut to different lengths. The start and end sections of the roll are automatically ejected.
