Well soul with square

Using hydraulic presses and special pressing tools, a "double" square is pressed. In the next step, this is cut in the middle, resulting in shaft cores with two pressed squares. The minimum possible key width of the square is determined by the diameter of the shaft core, while the length is defined by the pressing tool. Pressing densifies the material and achieves good power transmission. For special applications, it is possible to additionally weld or solder the ends of the squares.
