Multimode MTP® connectors are conventionally polished to PC 0°. Singlemode connectors are APC 8° to achieve high return loss (RL). Variants: MTP® female without guide pins, MTP® male with guide pins.
The MTP®/MPO is a low-loss multi-fiber connector for up to 72 fibers, based on n x 12 fiber MT ferrules, with cable strain relief and bend protection sleeve for round cables.
