Pugh Micromet Cartridges

Active charge is a very high-quality food-grade polyphosphate that dissolves very slowly in cold water. This process does not alter the calcium or magnesium content of the water. The treated water has neither taste nor odor. The action of the crystals prevents the formation of hard and adherent scale, prevents corrosion of pipes, and eliminates issues caused by iron-rich water. Pugh Micromet cartridges are available in two sizes (type 30 and type 75/150/150B) and must be replaced every 6 months to maintain the effectiveness of Pugh Micromet devices. Indeed, after 6 months of use, the crystals contained in the cartridge undergo a certain transformation due to dissolution. This significantly reduces their solubility, risking an insufficient dosage in the treated water. In this case, the device may no longer completely prevent the formation of scale in hot water production devices.
