PROTECPEL AQ consists of a white waterproof film that can be easily detached from its backing while protecting metal, plastic, porcelain surfaces, etc. It is used for: - protecting the walls of paint booths from paint or varnish stains, - protecting mechanical parts from scratches, scuffs, or rust due to handling or machining operations (bending, stamping, etc.), - preparing masks for subsequent painting or for electroplating, - replacing paper packaging in the delivery of parts or other items. PROTECPEL AQ should be applied if it involves booths or galvanized parts or untreated parts. Use a 0.5mm nozzle, the pot pressure should be between 4 and 6 Kg/cm², and the gun pressure should be 4 to 6 Kg/cm². By dipping: Apply as is. It can also be applied with a brush to obtain a mask on small surfaces (e.g., raised letters, trim pieces…) Allow to dry in the air. At 20°C, this takes 8 to 10 hours.
