PEKO-Flex multilayer with pre-insulation

At temperatures above 600°C, fabric compensators are designed with an additional internal pre-insulation. This pre-insulation reduces the medium temperature sufficiently so that the fabric compensator cannot be damaged. In this way, materials can be used in the compensator that would otherwise not be suitable due to the medium temperature. However, when using pre-insulation, it is important to ensure that the temperature is not lowered too much, as this may lead to a drop below the dew point, resulting in increased corrosion of the steel parts and the potential for condensate to escape in the clamping area of the compensator.
