This compact, maintenance-free Magtrol torque measurement flange offers numerous groundbreaking advantages in the field of torque measurement. Its high torsional stiffness allows for direct mounting on the machine shaft or on a machine flange without a coupling flange, enabling cost-effective and hassle-free integration into test benches with minimal space requirements. Based on strain gauge technology and signal transmission via telemetry, the Magtrol torque measurement flanges generate highly accurate output measurement signals. The amplifier housed in the measurement flange converts the measurement signal into a high-frequency signal and transmits it inductively via an HF transformer to the conditioning unit, which converts the numerical torque signal into an analog ±5VDC output signal (current output: optional).
