The standard round punch from mäder presses is characterized by high stability, a ground surface, and precise punch bore. Tools can be securely fixed in the punch bore using a hex screw. The round punches from mäder presses are fundamentally guided in honed bores or in precise Teflon bushings. The operation is remarkably simple: as soon as the punch with the clamped tool reaches the workpiece, a spring is tensioned by hand force on the hand lever. At the end of the spring tension stroke, the stored spring energy is then abruptly transferred to the workpiece. The impact force of the press can be infinitely adjusted via the star handle.
