The wine: The plot that produces this beautiful, indulgent, fleshy, and aromatic Saint-Véran is located at the edge of the AOC Pouilly-Fuissé. Its palate transports us with aromas of white flowers and fruits, complemented by a lovely mineral backbone and a hint of oak, giving this Chardonnay a delightful balance. A true pleasure to taste, it pairs ideally with fish, shellfish, and poultry! The estate: In the family for 7 generations, the Bodillard vineyard consists of 14 hectares spread across 7 wine-producing communes between Beaujolais and Mâconnais. Some cuvées are already certified organic, and soon all will be. The diversity of the plots allows the estate to cover a wide variety of soils (granite sands, schists, etc.) and thus produce wines with varied characters.
