Simple shell and tube heat exchangers - The right tube for your equipment

Different devices require different designs for optimal performance, which is why our offering includes shell and tube heat exchangers in a single-tube design with smooth surfaces, high and low finning, as well as compact fin bundles. The design with a smooth tube will deliver the best performance when the media have similar heat transfer properties. The design with a finned tube will yield optimal results when there is a significant difference in heat transfer rates, for example, when cooling oil with water. The solutions with low and high fins are a hybrid of the previous two designs, further optimizing flow, pressure drop, and media velocities.
