A particularly compact solution for exhaust gas bypass is provided by the bypass box made of high-quality stainless steel. The insulation of the housing ensures low energy loss. The bypass box is ideally suited for installations with downstream heat recovery or for installation before an electrostatic filter. The actual flap is operated by Siemens actuators and automatically opens the bypass in case of a fault. The special shaft passage of the flap and the inspection opening allow applications up to T600 H1 (5,000 Pa). Thus, the bypass box is also suitable for use in combustion engine systems (CHP). The orientation of the inlet and the two outlets can be freely chosen. Therefore, even challenging installation positions in confined spaces can be managed.
