SINKERODING

On our 3 sinker EDM machines, we erode 3D geometries from self-manufactured or supplied sinker EDM electrodes, such as those made from graphite or copper. We process these often quite complex shapes 1:1 into workpieces made from various materials for tool and special machine construction. Workpiece sizes of 800 x 550 x 250 mm are possible with a travel range of 400 x 300 x 300 mm. A maximum possible workpiece weight of 700 kg leaves little to be desired in sinker EDM. The 20-fold tool changers on our sinker EDM machines ensure optimally automated erosion processes. Even the erosion of hard metal poses no particular problem, thanks to the latest technology. Surfaces with Ra 0.1 µ (mirror finish processing), fine rib machining, internal gearing, etc., are achievable in a variety of materials.
