The Model 716/PK is particularly suitable for unwinding and rewinding with cores. PNEUMATIC CLAMPING HEADS WITH WEDGES The Model 716/PK is especially designed for unwinding and rewinding with cores. The clamping head body is typically available in steel, while the clamping elements (wedges) can be coated in hardened steel, aluminum, or rubber depending on the application. It is available with a side flange for attachment to unwinding stations with movable arms or with a through hole for mounting on support shafts. Upon request, the clamping head can be supplied with 2 or 3 diameters to accommodate different core diameters. The expansion is achieved through a single rubber sleeve, which, when inflated, ejects the wedges and allows for core reception. The standard dimensions of this model are provided in a table, but other dimensions are available upon request.
