The CoriMix® is a high-speed continuous horizontal mixer designed for high flow rates, specifically for the homogeneous mixing of liquids with bulk powder materials. It is based on the high speed of the mixer, with a circumferential speed of the mixing tools of up to 50 m/s. The product is mixed in an annular bed. The product is pushed through the mixing chamber in an annular layer. The residence time is extremely short. The overall shear intensity of the process can be adapted to all needs by selecting and adjusting the mixing tools. Liquids enter the annular layer through addition systems, either tangentially from the outside through the drum wall or from the inside through a hollow shaft with special tools. Wetting of the wall and the shaft of the mixer is minimized as much as possible. The distribution effect occurs without the risk of clogging.
