Control Film with Membrane Switch

This is a structure consisting of various layers of film and adhesive layers. The front film of a membrane switch also serves as the control film, which is individually designed and printed with various symbols for operating a device. On the back, contact areas are printed with electrically conductive paint. A back film, which is equipped with a circuit and is in turn bonded at a desired distance from the front film by a spacer film with holes at the switching contacts, ensures that when pressing the control symbol on the control film with a fingertip, the front and back films make contact. An electric current flows, and the switch is activated. High-performance adhesives are used to bond the various films. The spacer films can be applied in different thicknesses, and the control symbols on the control film can be represented in relief through embossing.
