Bifurcated fan

In demanding applications such as high temperatures or the transport of corrosive gases, it is not always possible to install a motor in the volumetric flow. The solution for this is a so-called bifurcated fan, which is an axial fan where the airflow is split in a tunnel, meaning that the motor is not located in the volumetric flow. This protects it from potentially harmful particles or high temperatures. Our many years of experience and extensive product range provide our customers with confidence. Bifurcated fans are used in harsh environments where a standard axial fan would encounter problems, whether due to temperatures or particles in the volumetric flow. Typical applications can include extraction from an industrial application with high temperatures, handling gases containing acids, spray booths, or, for example, in a restaurant kitchen with a frying station.
