The ESSLA80 series liquid storage tanks are system protection devices designed for placement in the low-pressure line of the compressor. The main purpose of the ESSLA80 is to prevent refrigerant in liquid form from reaching the compressor. Due to the internal design, ESSLA80 liquid accumulators can prevent fluctuations/irregularities during the "off-cycle" and liquid hammering. Additionally, it promotes oil return to the compressor. In the first installation step, it is recommended to fill the liquid storage tank with sufficient oil.
