Various materials can be cut, such as copper, bronze, titanium, or brass. For sheets thicker than 8 mm, the operating costs of the CO2 laser are lower. With the CO2 laser, it is possible to cut wood, plastic, glass, stainless steel, and aluminum up to thicknesses of 15 mm.
