Cam switch

The VN series cam switches are manually operated cam switches with a wide range of applications and virtually unlimited switching possibilities. The basic unit of the cam switch consists of the contact chamber with the cam wheel for function control. Each chamber contains 2 double-breaking contacts, with the movable contact bridges being controlled by the cam wheel via the contact sliders. The opening of the contacts occurs in a forced manner. Therefore, VN switches are universally applicable and can be constructed as control switches, instrument switches, motor switches, and main switches. The VN series includes various sizes. The cam switches of the VN series are developed, manufactured, and tested according to the relevant national and international regulations. The products in this line fall under the scope of the EU Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC.
