Capacitive sensors for aggressive, corrosive media from EGE provide extremely robust and reliable level monitoring for liquids and bulk materials in cylindrical form with threads. The sensors are suitable for installation using mounting plates and nuts or with an adapter into the tank wall. The medium to be detected acts as a dielectric. The medium that contacts the sensor generates a change in capacitance. This is converted into a switching signal. EGE level sensors KGF and KGMR are designed for use in aggressive media and harsh industrial environments.
