Arc Spraying

Arc Spraying

Arc spraying is a powerful wire spraying process used for producing coatings, where electrically conductive materials are sprayed. An arc is generated between two wires made of the same or different metal materials. The wire tips are melted at a temperature of around 4000 °C and blown onto the prepared workpiece surface using compressed air. Typical layer thicknesses range from 0.3 to 5 mm. The applications of arc spraying are primarily: repair of bearing and sliding seat areas on machine components, wear protection, corrosion protection, and repair of improperly machined machine parts. LAYERS: All non-ferrous and ferrous metals APPLICATION: Restoration / Repair Corrosion protection
