The tensile-compression force sensors from the 8523 series are suitable for a wide range of applications. The sensors demonstrate their advantages, among other things, through three cutting pads that allow for tilt-free installation. With this setup, very good measurement results can be achieved even on less than optimal surface conditions.
The force to be measured is introduced into the central internal thread in either tensile or compressive direction. Using force introduction buttons from our accessory program, pure compressive forces can be measured without the need for complex mechanical integration of the sensor. With the optional load centering plate, tensile forces in rods or chains can also be easily captured.
