The newly developed Sensor PROFIBUS Module Type 9221 is ideally suited for integrating various analog sensor output signals into complex, networked, and decentralized automation structures. Due to its safe and reliable transmission behavior, fast transmission speed, and simple design, the module finds its application in industrial automation technology as well as in test stand technology. The additional inputs (PLC signal levels) and outputs available for external control allow for quick response times, enabling, for example, a zero-point triggering activated by proximity switches or a rapid alert in case of setpoint exceedance. Industry-standard connection and mounting techniques facilitate the user's adaptation and integration into existing mechanical and electrical environments.
