Feeder and Straightener

In the case of feeding lines, proper preparation of the material for further processing is crucial. The presented straightener is equipped with an entry table with a bending arm. After placing the coil on the unwind spindle, correctly adjusting it, and holding it with a pressure roller, we can cut the securing tape that prevents the coil from unwinding. In the next stage, we unwind the coil while simultaneously positioning the entry table, spreading and raising it to the appropriate position. We bend the beginning of the coil before introducing it into the straightener using a hydraulically driven bending roller. The bending roller is made of high-quality steel, subjected to heat treatment, with a hardness reaching HRC60 +/- 2. The straightener can be equipped with 7 to 13 straightening rollers, arranged in a honeycomb pattern. For straighteners adapted to wider strips, the straightening rollers are additionally supported to eliminate the phenomenon of bending under heavy loads.
