Gear Volumetric Pump - PUMPS

Gear pumps are used to pump any product, even slightly loaded (without solids). They have a non-pulsating flow, are reversible, and self-priming. The pumping principle involves a driven gear rotating with a toothed rotor. These two components are separated by a half-moon. As it rotates, cavities are created, and the pumped liquid is drawn in and then expelled. The pump is not very sensitive to pressure. They are available in cast iron, treated steel, or stainless steel 316. Different types of sealing are available: braids, mechanical seals, magnetic couplings. Simple or double by-pass options, partial or complete heating jackets, etc., are possible. These pumps are particularly suitable for temperatures up to 300° C.
