Uses: To prepare matcha tea, add 70 ml of hot but not boiling water (about 70 °C) to 1/4 tsp (1g) of matcha powder and mix well. For a creamier texture, you can use a traditional bamboo tea whisk or use a spoon, a small metal whisk, or an electric frother. Matcha powder can be blended with other teas, shakes, and beverages. It is suitable for preparing various desserts and sauces. Instead of using water, milk (regular, coconut, almond, or other) can be added to make a matcha latte.
Matcha contains caffeine, but less than coffee or black tea.
