Château Pouyanne

{"Comment":"The Château Pouyanne vineyard spans a beautiful 55-hectare terroir, located 40 km southeast of Bordeaux, in the municipality of Budos. The varied hillside is very gravelly at the top and clay-limestone at the bottom. Environmental protection is a major concern for the producers who have been practicing sustainable farming (monitoring vine treatments and selecting inputs, managing water and waste, rational fertilization, biodiversity, selective sorting, and recycling) for many years, with oversight from the Gironde Chamber of Agriculture.\n\nTasting\nA stunning youthful garnet color. On the nose, this characterful bouquet combines a prominent minerality with enveloping and sweet aromas of fruit cream (blackberry, blackcurrant, sour cherry). The palate is rich and indulgent, with this generous cuvée favoring openness and fruity freshness.\n\nGrapes: Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Cabernet Franc (20%)\nProducer: Zausa Family in Budos (33720)\nFormats and Packaging: Bottle (75cl) - Carton of 12 - 2020"}
