Using authentic products and drawing knowledge from their background in the catering industry, De Gusta is inspired by their joint heritage - of the land and of the kitchen. The team at DeGusta is young, flexible and ambitious, bringing Mediterranean produce to the heart of modern cuisine, whether contemporary or classic. Family, friends and an impressive network of contacts have given us the opportunity to work directly with producers, absorbing their passion for produce and ensuring quality control in the journey from farm gate to plate. Today, we are proud to work with providers such as Bocha Fruit, La Cuina, Severn Project, Verdcamps, Gamboa and Cooperativa San Isidro to whom we are very grateful. We adapt our produces to every season, oferenig either local produce and imported produce. We bring the local produce from the local farmers that grow the finest vegetables to you. We chose the perfect season for every vegetable to obtain a unique flavour. We take pride in providing fresh vegetables just for you and in case this is not possible, we import the seasons produce from the mediterranean zone instead. On the other hand we offer imported seasonal produce to complement what we are not able to source locally, working with Spanish producers to ensure optimum and authentic quality and flavour. We also offer many organic products.

We are a network of farmers, sellers, buyers, and agribusinesses engaged in all the processes from the farm to the buyer. Since establishment, we have made great strides in becoming a reliable source for the right products to suit our buyers’ needs and requirements and we pride ourselves on providing relevant and unbiased information and advice to all our customers and stakeholders. We do not just source products for our many partners but also farm some 2, 500+ acres of arable farmland growing a variety of crops such as maize, cassava, and some vegetables in between. To meet the demand for our various products we source products from other farmers and engage with smallholder farmers to provide a reliable delivery network for their produce from the farmgate to the marketplace. The absence of this basic services is a certain path to huge losses for these smallholder farmers who depend on their small farms as a source of income for their families. Some of these services - tractors, planters, harvesters - we provide free of charge to these farmers and share the same techniques we use on our own farms which includes the avoidance of dangerous chemicals and pesticides. The vast network and relationships we have built over the years, and our in-depth knowledge of local and international markets make us one of the best in the business in providing Reliable, and Ethically sourced Products.
