The other type is synthetic soda or inorganic soda ash, which is produced from chemical processes—in simple terms, it is made from the combination of sodium and carbonic acid, reacting with ammonia. Soda Ash Light is used in the production of detergents, chemicals, textiles, paper, other sodium compounds, and in the casting industry and oil refineries.
