The transport of lump lime is mostly done in bulk by rail. nekafer® 15 is used in the steel industry to remove impurities from the steel melt. The lump lime helps to better incorporate elements such as sulfur and phosphorus, as well as manganese and silica, into the slag. A reactive lime with as low a content of impurities as possible is desired.
