They just require a simple saliva sample, making them ideal for children, the elderly or those with conditions which make nasal or throat swabs particularly uncomfortable or distressing. With concerns over the UK market being flooded with unregulated lateral flow tests, particularly from online sellers, Omnimed has been keen to take swift action to give the UK public a safe, affordable and comfortable option that is also easy to use, in order to detect COVID-19.
