...Once we pass through the 12th-century Arab wall, we reach the Courtyard of the Lion, to the left of which is the Hall of Justice (Sala de la Justicia). Opposite, three large arches open in the wall, remnants of an ancient Almohad facade, which was part of the defensive walls of the Alcazar. These openings, built along the axis of the palace of King Peter I of Castile, are located behind the construction of this building. The two side arches, originally horse-shoe shaped, are identical, while the middle one, the tallest and made of stone, is a semicircular arch.
