In 1965, SLP was founded at its current site as a subsidiary of Saarstahl AG. Even back then, the company's activities mainly focused on steel cold profiling. SLP has been concentrating exclusively on storage technology since 1985. Today, the company is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of shelving.
