Sek Chhan was born in Cambodia, where his family lived in Battambang, a small town located approximately 150 km form the border with Thailand. They were farmers and they made a living from the rice they grew. When the Chhan family moved to France, it was a real cultural shock to them since it was the first time they had left Asia. To help the family make end meet, Ms Chhan began to prepare spring rolls and samosas for associations. Although Asian cuisine was not very well-known and appreciated in the late 1980s in Sainte-Sigolène, a small village in Haute-Loire, she continued to develop her culinary talents. During this time, the young Sek pursued his studies, never forgetting the culinary and commercial experience acquired with his mother. He reproduced the family recipes and opened a small shop called "Les nems de mon enfance" in the Loire, with the help of Noemie. In just a few weeks, after moving to new premises, "Les nems de mon enfance" will continue to produce the highly appreciated spring rolls and samosas. Based on the french Island of Corsica, Callysthé mixes flavours from around the mediterranean and beyond to create unique teas. The Island of Corsica is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt places in all of Europe. This stunning mountainous island is home to more than 2, 500 species of plant, flower and herb, many of wich grow wildly and great abundance. This natural bounty is what inspired Anthony Lebrun to form Callysthé, a company that combines wild, fresh and sometimes unique Corsican ingredients with the best Rooibos, black and white teas from around the world to creat some truly inspired and original blends. The name Callysthé being a blend of KALLISTE, the ancient Greek name for Corsica, and "thé", the french word for "tea". Anthony now travels across the world - South Africa, India, Vietnam - to find the perfect teas to mix with local products such as the unique maquis or immortelle flower, wich is said to never fade. Since 2020, Callysthé is the official partner of the ROLLS ROYCE Club.

SAS VENTOUX EPEAUTRE

SAS VENTOUX EPEAUTRE is a grower of 100%-French einkorn wheat in the traditional manner. The company grows and collects einkorn wheat from the region where this cereal originates, around Mount Ventoux and in Alpes de Haute Provence, Drôme and Vaucluse. Einkorn wheat is grown in rotation with scented and aromatic plants and fodder, and it requires no additional inputs. This means that our production is totally natural. After each harvest, seeds are stored in silos with no additives. Next comes husking, which simply involves removing the skin around the seed. To ensure a clean product, a suction system then removes chaff and all other matter lighter than the seed. A set of grilles then remove everything longer or shorter than the seed. Then, an optical scanner is used to remove any remaining unsuitable seeds. The final stage is quality control!
