...Spiral tubes are made from galvanized stainless steel or copper strip wound in a spiral with continuous helical stitching for a tight seal. The external raised stitching gives the pipes significant rigidity and crush resistance, three times greater than that of a traditional rolled tube. Tubes can be produced starting from a minimum diameter of Ø 80 mm, up to a maximum Ø of 1400 mm. Our spiral tubes have been used for the foundations of the C metro line in Rome, where concrete is poured into the tube, allowing the construction rebar to pass through inside.
