... the adhesive cord. To provide thermal insulation, aluminum windows are equipped with internal plastic insulating ribs - these need to be joined. This is where our adhesive cord comes into play. It is a bico-filament with a core made of polyamide 6.6 GF25% and a melt adhesive sheath. During the coating process (powder coating at temperatures between 180-230°C), the adhesive function of the adhesive cord is activated after cooling. This firmly bonds the aluminum profile and the plastic rib, filling all cavities (capillaries).
