The Kiersper company Ernst Frommann was founded in 1939. Initially, wire pins were produced, and later the company became a supplier for the button industry in Lüdenscheid. From around 1950, the company specialized in the production of wire bent parts. Until November 2008, the company was owned by the founding family and was taken over by Joachim Wilhelm in December 2008. Today, Frommann manufactures ready-to-install wire bent parts, e.g., with groove indentations, turned pins or heads, cut or rolled threads, embossed or milled surfaces, drill holes, and galvanized surfaces.
