...HIAT develops innovative electrocatalysts for PEFC, HT-PEFC, electrolysis, and DMFC electrodes. Various types of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are used as carbon supports. The deposition of Pt and PtRu alloys on the CNTs is carried out through a wet chemical process. This production method results in particles with minimum diameters of 2-4 nm and a homogeneous distribution. Electrocatalysts made from CNTs significantly enhance the performance of PEM fuel cells.
