Parts that have been machined with CNC machines or stamped are so heavily contaminated with greasy residues that the usual chromating or phosphating as a pre-treatment for a solidly executed powder coating is not sufficient. We do this partly as a pre-treatment for powder coating and DECORAL ® coating, and partly as preparation for other mechanical further processing. Tetrachlorethylene (DOW PER MC) is used as the cleaning medium/solvent. Since it is processed and reused in a closed loop, our system operates in an environmentally friendly manner.
