... effortlessly. The machining of keyways, profiles, or gears is done using a ramming mandrel (see Work Standard 49.016 and 49.013). The production of a keyway or a profile takes no longer than one minute! The presses are very easy to handle. In the mechanical press, the force is transmitted from the handwheel through a gear set to the rack. By operating a gear reduction, the pressing force can be increased from 3 tons to 6 tons with the same input force.
