The resulting stitch form is then fixed through a steaming or dyeing process and subsequently unraveled. This knitted texturing remains intact even after the tubes are unraveled. Knit-de-Knit yarns are available in all color shades and are therefore popular as effect or novelty yarns for striking designs in trendy knitwear. Due to their high elasticity, they also play an important role in the medical field.
