The estate is located on the ancient terraces of the Tarn, and the vines are planted in Boulbènes soil, which is sandy loam. 49 hectares produce red wine and 1 hectare produces white wine, with the vineyard averaging 30 years in age. The grape varieties of the estate are 53% Négrette, 16% Cabernet Franc, 14% Gamay, 11% Syrah, and 6% other varieties for red wine production, and 100% Sauvignon for white wine production. CHÂTEAU CRANSAC establishes itself as an Independent Winemaker.
