... the guide. Neighbors to the grand cru Ruchottes, Les Champonnets is a high-altitude vineyard, quite steep, situated around 280 meters, facing east-northeast. They do not often appear in the Guide; here is the opportunity to discover them, through this dark red wine with a licorice and menthol nose, which opens up with aeration to reveal black fruits and plum. Powerful, rich, tense, and long, this 2011 aged in new oak shows somewhat abrupt tannins today that suggest it should be kept for at least five years. It will make a great bottle that would pair well with a beef filet with morels.

The MULLER-KOEBERLE estate was one of the first cellars in Alsace. Today, we cultivate over 27 hectares of vineyards to offer several ranges of wines, including traditional Alsace wines, fruit wines, Terroir wines, Prestige and Grand Cru wines, as well as late harvest wines, white and rosé crémant. We also offer guest rooms in the heart of the Alsace vineyard along the wine route.

DOMAINE JOMAIN is an 8-hectare vineyard in PULIGNY-MONTRACHET, of which 2.60 hectares primarily produce world-renowned white wines made from the Chardonnay grape in the village, 1er cru, and grand cru appellations. The strength of DOMAINE JOMAIN also lies in its grape variety: Pinot Noir (small clusters with black berries and white juice, a noble grape for great reds).
